Will I receive phone calls from my Air Force boyfriend while he is in Basic?

Maybe, but don't count on it. They get a phone call home at the end of the first week so if he left on Monday, he shipped out to Lackland on Tuesday and would get his phone call on Sunday. It is only a 2 minute call to say, I'm here and this is my address and most people call their parents or wife/husband not their boyfriends/girlfriends. During basic they are kept so busy they are not allowed to use the phone. They may only use the phone if they are given liberty. My flight was not given liberty till 4 days before we graduated, I have heard of flights being granted liberty as early as week 3. So it all depends on their instructors.
