Why do so many Christians think atheists "Follow" Richard Dawkins?

They can't wrap their mind around the concept that not everybody is like them, so they keep trying to shoehorn us into their paradigm -- e.g.; if they can discredit Charles Darwin as a human being by cherry-picking quotes that suggest he's a racist, then they think his scientific discoveries are somehow invalidated.
