im a 20 year old stylist and my personal opinion is that i like the first cut that you showed .. your hair doesnt look like it has the texture to do the second one and it doesnt look long enough .. so your option is to either cut it like the first one or grow your hair out a little longer and try the second cut and see if you like it but like i said it doesnt look like you have the texture for it but i think that the first cut would def suit you more because it gives you something different then the short cut your used to so you get the length on the top and its fun and playful and you get the short fade on the sides which i think youll like much better :) hope i could help
