Do you think President Bush will ask Iraq to pardon the man who threw shoes at him, as a good will gesture?

Despite the media's depiction of Bush, he would do just that, and he would do so without consideration of the political ramifications or his 'legacy'. That is why I respect the man, even though I disagreed with his attempts to console those who tried - and managed - to do him harm in the public spectrum. My problem with Bush was that he failed to defend himself against the ault, which is why his approval ratings were what they were, something else they used against him.
