Blank screen while launching games.. Please help!?

i have an old computer with nVidia 5200 FX AGP Graphic card with Intel Pentium 4 Processor. Whenever i launch a game, i see nothing but a blank screen and able to hear sound. I'm not sure what the problem is, see if u guys could help! thnx
